#SuperDungeonExplore – Shallow Grave

Any self-respecting consul running Von Drakk Manor better make sure their skeletal minions are up to snuff. Without a doubt these guys are my favourite pre-forgotten king minion box and I’m incredibly happy I’ve finally got them finished.

The style of SDE gives some creative flexibility when painting. I elected to stick with some bright colours on these guys to tie them in with various dungeon bosses. First I added purple to tie them in with their standard Dungeon Boss, Von Drakk. I then added blue to the scheme to tie them in with Starfire and his crew, but I’ve yet to determine how (or if) they will tie in with Roxor. I may just have to lean on the fire effect of the bases.

Playing the consul with the Shallow grave is oh-so-fun, wave upon wave of undead being killed then resurrecting is a recipe for drowning the heroes in a pile of bones. Individually the Skeletons aren’t too dangerous, but when you start adding mob from Rattlebones and Cursed Blade from the Dread Knight things add up in a hurry. Onward, Undead minions!
